Per the 8/02/2021 Administrative Order set forth by Georgia’s Commissioner of Public Health, all schools have local, final authority over their COVID-19 policies and quarantine protocols within certain parameters. Each school system has their own unique challenges to meet the needs of students and faculty and we respect their authority to make the final decisions.
Cobb & Douglas Public Health also does not have control over the mask mandates at the schools, but does recommend CDC School Guidelines to all schools and school districts in an effort to keep our students, educators and communities safe.
