The mission of the Nuisance Complaint program is to prevent the spread and transmission of disease and dangers to the community by ensuring that refuse removal, rodent and insect control, sewage leaks, on-site sewage management system failure and other dangers to public health are identified and abated. If the complaint does not fall under our authority, complainants are directed to external resources to remedy their problem (code enforcement, building inspections, etc.).
