The Medical Reserve Corps (MRC) is a national network of volunteers, organized locally to improve the health and safety of their communities. The MRC network comprises of approximately 800 community-based units and over 300,000 volunteers located throughout the United States and its territories.
The Cobb & Douglas Medical Reserve Corps (CDMRC) is a network of local volunteers committed to improving the health, safety, and resilience of our communities. CDMRC volunteers include medical as well as non-medical volunteers who are interested in strengthening the public health infrastructure and improving the preparedness and response capabilities of local jurisdictions. CDMRC will identify, screen, train, and organize volunteers in order to utilize and support routine public health activities that augment preparedness and response efforts.
