The Dental Clinic at Cobb & Douglas Public Health (CDPH) is now offering exams and cleanings for children starting at $55. Under the direction of new Dental Director Dr. Paul Waters, the clinic serves children from ages 2 – 18 and provides exams and cleanings which includes X-rays and fluoride.

Insurance is not required for services, but the clinic now accepts Medicaid, PeachCare, Amerigroup, PeachState and Wellcare in addition to cash and credit cards.

“Dr. Waters recently joined the Cobb & Douglas Public Health team and has quickly restructured the Dental Clinic to be more effective at providing quality services at a lower cost to children in Cobb and Douglas counties. We are happy to have his expertise available to better serve families in our community,” said Dr. Jack Kennedy, district health director of Cobb & Douglas Public Health.

Dr. Waters has been in practice in Cobb County for over 30 years and received his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from Emory University. He is well versed in all areas of general dentistry, from basic preventive care to complex restorative procedures. He will provide general dentistry services for children enrolled in accepted insurances and children without dental coverage who need to be seen on a self-pay basis.
