Cobb & Douglas Public Health is pleased to announce the recent opening of the Acworth WIC Clinic. The clinic offers a wide range of services to pregnant and postpartum women, infants, and children up until the age of five. Some of the benefits offered by WIC include nutrition supplementation, nutrition education, and referrals to other helpful community resources.

Qualifying for the WIC program is easy. Visit the Georgia WIC Precertification Application for details. There is also automatic income eligibility for some residents. This means certain applicants can be determined income eligible for WIC based on their participation in other government assistance programs.

Although the clinic is located in Cobb County, this does not mean it only services residents from this particular county. As long as you are a resident of Georgia, the Acworth WIC clinic will welcome you.

The clinic is located in the Acworth Community Health Center at 4489 Acworth Industrial Blvd., Acworth, GA 30101. The days of operation for the Acworth WIC Clinic are Tuesday and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

This location also provides additional health services to community members. Some of these services include family planning, pregnancy tests, immunizations and birth control.
